Introducing our Juniors Coaching Team for 2020

Coach - Jasmin Lachlan

I started calisthenics at 3 years old! This sport has given me the opportunity to make lifelong friendships with others who share the same passion for calisthenics as I do! I have been doing calisthenics for 15 years now going into my 16th this year,  the longer I have been doing calisthenics the more involved I have gotten.

I have participated in multiple representative teams from subbies to seniors, done gracefuls since juniors and have been coaching for 7 years. My favourite part of calisthenics is how different it is to anything else. I feel I have learnt a lot and I hope to continue to grow and pass on what I have learnt to others. I have recently achieved my level one accreditation and look forward to co-coaching alongside my mum, and also begin coaching solos and duos. I am excited to see what is to come in 2020!

Coach - Mel Lachlan

Starting Calisthenics at 3yrs of age I have been an active dancer, coach and mum with Deanne for over 30yrs and have grown to love the Deanne club as family.  I have been very blessed that my daughter has just as much love for Calisthenics as I do and I am so excited to be Co-Coaching the Juniors age group this year with my daughter Jasmin. We have some really exciting things organised this year with an awesome coaching support team. Bring on 2020!

Senior Cadet - Taylah Bowler

Hi, my name is Taylah and I have been dancing with Deanne Calisthenics club for over 10 years, when I am not at Cali training you will either find me at the snow, on a beach  somewhere or travelling the world.

This year I will be a senior cadet for the Juniors age group and I will also be doing my level 1 course throughout the year.

I love to coach all routines as I love to see each team member grow there skills and confidence throughout the year, however if I had to choose just one routine, it would be free arm. It is such a great feeling as coach to come to class each week and see the improvement of flexibility and strength within the team.

I am really excited for what 2020 holds for me and I can’t wait for another great year of calisthenics!

Class Assistant - Chloe Taunton

My name is Chloe Taunton and 2020 will be my 15th year of calisthenics with Deanne! I have loved forming friendships with my teammates and coaches over the years and I cannot wait to cadet Juniors over the course of this year! I am excited to get to know the girls and help them achieve their goals!
